Scarce signed copy of the author's controversial and important first book, which was confiscated and subsequently prosecuted as obscene, resulting in the longest running obscenity trial in San Francisco history. With 4 poems, including "To Fuck with Love" which was prosecuted for obscenity in 1967 in San Francisco during the hippie movement in the Haight-Ashbury. She spoke at the Human Be-In in Golden Gate Park, January 14, 1967; was one of 15 people interviewed in Voices from the Love Generation; and is considered by some to be one of the major poets of the 20th century but unfortunately generally unknown by many.
