Rare limited priting which formed one of The Ashley Library Series of Privately Printed Books, and the Epistle was addressed to Mr. Charles Baxter, one of the author's executors. Printed note on leaf following title states that "The Impression of this book is limited to a few copies for Private Circulation only. " Prideaux #47notes "27 copies only were printed, all upon Whatman's handmade paper." In custom half red calf folding case.

Condition

A little soiling and corner wear to covers; near fine.
