Description
Ming and Qing dynasties, including a Swatow bowl, phoenix in a landscape; one with underglaze blue Kangxi mark within double rings, prunus decoration; one with apocryphal underglaze blue mark within double rings, floral decoration and beaded swags; one with square chop mark, foliate scrolls and landscapes; shallow bowl with floral scrolls; bowl with stylized lotus pond decoration; largest 2-3/4 x 11-1/4 in.

Note: The Swatow bowl is accompanied by a 1977 newspaper advertisement from The Charlotte Observer, illustrating a similarly decorated Ming dynasty bowl from the collection of Johnstone-Fong, Inc. of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
