Description
Royal Crown Derby (British, 20th century). Fifty pieces of blue and white porcelain dinnerware with gilt edges in the "Mikado" pattern comprising teapot (h. 11.25"), lidded sugar (w. 6.25"), creamer (w. 5.5"), platter (w. 13"), platter (w. 15"), two square plates (w. 11.25"), cake plate (w.9.25"), seven salad plates (w. 8.125"), four bread plates (6"), two bowls (w. 6.25" and 5.25" ), four egg cups (h. 2.25"), seven small cups and seven saucers (w. 5.5"), four teacups and four saucers (w. 5.75"), tea bowl (w3.5") and two creamers (h. 3" and 3.5"). All appropriately marked. Provenance: From the Estate of Joan O'Brien Diemer, Atlanta, Georgia.
Condition
Firing/glazing imperfections. Set includes different ages of pattern with different marks and variations in pattern and color. One square plate and one creamer are broken and repaired. Scattered gilt losses on rims.
