Description
English, 19th and 20th century. Seven-piece group of mainly blue and white "Blue Willow" pottery transferware tableware comprising: two Charles Allerton & Sons "Willow" platters, a pair of attributed Middlesboro Pottery Company small platters, a Hulse & Adderly open vegetable bowl, and two Rowland and Marsellus Company Canadian souvenir plates, Toronto and Winnipeg. All marked to the underside. Provenance: From the Estate of Joan O'Brien Diemer, Atlanta, Georgia. Approx. of the largest platter, w. 13.75", d. 11".
Condition
All with some crazing and staining; small flake and glazed over chip to the back of the Toronto plate.
