Description
Mainly John Harris (English, registered 1852), 1857. Eleven piece Victorian-era sterling silver mounted and glass dressing-table or toilette set in brass bound coromandel wood case with travel mirror, comprising seven containers with marks of John Harris, three with unmarked silver-tone monogrammed lids, and one single jar with unmarked and non-monogrammed silverplate lid. The lock with marks for "JT Needs 128 Picadilly" and "J. Bramah 124 Picadilly"; the lids appropriately marked. Provenance: The Private Collection of a local Atlanta, Georgia resident. Approx. h. h. 6.75", w. 12.25", d. 9" (case); total approx. of all of the weighable silver elements, 5.92 ozt.
