Edison Phonograph Company (American, 1898-1929), last patent date May 31, 1898. Edison standard home phonograph in green oak case with an Hawthorne & Sheble tulip decorated metal horn, National Phono Company model H four minute reproducer, crank, and thirty-three cylinders including Buglersw of the New York Military Band, "US Army Bugle Calls", Teddy Bears' Picnic", and Knickerbocker Quartet's "We're Tenting To-night". Serial number H72037. Attached Japanned brass plate and marked to case "Edison Home Phonograph". Provenance: The Private Collection of Ms. Jo Ann Gordon, Madison, Mississippi; by descent.
