This is the key to the 1951 Bowman set the legendary quarterback: Norman Mack Van Brocklin (March 15, 1926 – May 2, 1983), nicknamed :The Dutchman:, an American football quarterback and coach. 1951 Bowman Football Card Number 4 Norm Van Brocklin RC (HOF) LA Rams. Van Brocklin would win NFL championships with the Los Angeles Rams in 1951 and the Philadelphia Eagles in 1960. In 1951, in one of the best performances of his career, Van Brocklin threw for 554 yards and set a record September 1951 for passing that still stands to this day. Squared mildly blunted x four corners. Well centered, especially for an early Bowman card. Clean, back and front with nice eye appeal from saturated inigo blues to lemon yellow Rams logo.We estimate the card grades out within a .5 of 7 NM.
