A FINE 'SATIN STITCH' EMBROIDERY OF QUAILS
China, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). Finely embroidered with polychrome silk threats are two quails before a taihu rock and peonies in bloom, a butterfly flying above. Framed behind glass.
Condition: Very good condition with minor wear. The frame with few small notches along the edges.
Provenance: British private collection.
Dimensions: Size incl. frame 50.5 x 39 cm
