This handsome large Silk Abraham Lincoln Mourning Ribbon measures about 3.25" x 6.5". Ribbon features a bust-length portrait of Abraham Lincoln within an oak wreath at center, with black printed text "WE MOURN / Our Country's Loss" above, and "Abraham Lincoln / Born, Feb 12th, 1809 / Died, April 15th, 1865 / He still Lives in the Hearts of the People" below. Mourning Cenotaph with Tablet at bottom is inscribed, "April 15, 1865," Mourning figure, and Willow tree at bottom. Fraying and pull separation at top edge across the top of "WE MOURN", yet the text, designs and images remain sharp and clear. Rare being the first example of this Lincoln memorial silk ribbon multicolor design we have offered.
