Dazzling imagery, breathtaking calligraphy and lavish ornamentation all combine to create a visually stunning masterpiece, the Kafra Haggadah, created in Budapest, Hungary in 1946 by the artist Fradel Kahan-Frankl and her son calligrapher Moshe Tzvi (Kafras).
Inscribed by Rabbi Isaac Edward Kiev (1905-1975) was the longtime librarian at HUC of NYU. His personal library is the pillar of the Judaica Library at The George Washington University.
