Meissen German Porcelain Group of a Colonel Rider with a Moor - 19th Century. A Meissen porcelain group of Tsarina Elisabeth Petrowna, mounted, with Moor. Markings: Crossed swords in blue underglaze. Incised "1059", stamped "149" with teardrop symbol. This model was originally created in 1743 by Johann Joachim Kändler. 10" H. Condition: Several repairs to figure. Repair and chip to rider's hat, repair to tip of sword, repair to horse ear and chips to other horse ear.
