Description

Rare genuine Thonet Model 81 bentwood corner armchair with lace-caned seat. Stamp and paper label under seat. Dimensions: H 31.75" x W 25.5" x D 24" x SH 17.75" Condition: Chair sturdy, showing normal wear consistent with antique age; patina including old nicks, dings, scuffs, finish rubs, and marks to wood; seat likely previously re-caned, with a few small breaks to caning.

Condition

All the items in this auction remain at our Annex Gallery location in Bridgeport, CT for pickup. Items must be picked up in the time frame of Tuesday December 14th through Thursday, December 23rd, 9am-5pm, WEEKDAYS. We will be closed Friday December 24th.
