Silver plate hot water urn or samovar with removable heating element. Late 19th century. No visible hallmarks, heating element incised on bottom in possible Chinese characters and numbers. Classical styling, with female torsos on legs, floral and vase motifs. Beadwork in parts, and a bone handle on spout. Seems to be silver plate over brass / bronze. Some areas of copper. Minor scuffs and dents. Some silverplate loss. Some build up of residue on interior of urn, with tape over spout area (interior) and plastic on part of exterior spout. 16 1/2" tall by about 8" long and 8 1/2" wide at handles.Keywords: antique, tea, coffee, Russian, Chinese, China, decor, decoration
