Description: This pin was likely made in during the height of Tiffanys artisan period, with intricately carved feathers in gold, a platinum beak & a fine Australian opal specifically chosen by the artist to utilize the incredible flash of green color to represent the birds wings / body. Condition:Seen with magnification the opal has some minor internal crazing that does not break the surface, all stones are intact & look fine. Setting shows very minimal surface wear overall with just some toning to the gold that just needs a polish. Heavy pin bar shows very minor surface wear.
