Description: Very fine example of a Prehistoric Native American Caddoan Mississippian Culture Fine-ware Pottery Vessel Bowl. Type: Dark brown fine shell tempered thin walled ceramic jar: Keno Trailed - incised ceramic beaker / jar engraved / incised with end to end hook or scroll motifs. Phillips Variety - This Phillips variety consist of Blackburn designs on wide mouthed beakers with rare notched lips. Blackburn Pattern - Very nice example of the Blackburn pattern consisting of vertically placed multiple line designs with somewhat rectanguler interlocking "hook" or scroll motifs repeated around the vessel. Culture: Caddoan Mississippian Culture Location: Caddoan Mississippian Region - Miller County, Arkansas. Approx. Size: 3.8" H x 6" D.
