5 German and 2 French medals: 1) The suffering of the German people. The reverse records the prices of common goods on Nov. 15, 1923. Brass, 32mm, AU; 2) A second medal for the suffering of the German people in 1923. The reverse documents prices in paper marks for various products including 1 gold mark coin equal to 1 billion marks in paper money. Brass, 32mm, EF; 3) In Eiserner Zeit 1916. Award presented to German people who turned in their gold to help fund the German defense. Image of a woman handing over her gold jewelry. Iron, 41mm, AU; 4) 1923 Saxony medal documenting the Despair of the People. Signed by Hornlein. Bronze, 38mm, Unc.; 5) 1925 1 Mark donation token received for donating to the German Communist Party building fund. Obv.. Building and the legend BAUFONDS 1925. The reverse proclaims united effort equals great strength with the Hammer and Sickle symbol.
