Description
Often referred to as an Oxford, sold by Sears Roebuck and Co in 1908 and 1909. Machine has the fully detachable rear mount. 10 panel scalloped horn has been repainted. Overall in very good condition. SN 3492. Good nickel on bedplate, mandrel has some plating loss. Carriage moves freely and in very good condition. Back mount is in good condition. Horn connection replated or possible reproduction. Good Graphophone decal on front of original oak cabinet, may have been overcoated. Original crank, machine winds and runs. Missing rubber feet on bottom. Pictured and extensively described in detail on page 160 of Hazelcorn's Columbia Phonograph Companion. Cabinet measures 10.25"W x 4"H x 7.25"D. A rare example with the Sears Roebuck attachments!
