Chinese Painted Gray Pottery Jar
Han Dynasty (206 B.C.-220 A.D.), of cylindrical form with two rows of scrolling arabesques in white, gray and pale green pigments on a red ground between white line borders, having pale green and white foliate meander below and above as well as on the shoulder, the base of the short neck encircled by a dog-tooth border in red and white.
