North America, United States, 20th century. A hand-painted wooden gameboard with a carved checkerboard in the center and areas for the players' game pieces to either side. A fabulous folk art piece of American origin, created during the early to mid 20th century. Size: 24.25" L x 14" W (61.6 cm x 35.6 cm)
Provenance: J Compton Gallery, Wimberley, Texas, USA
