Description

Stanford, Mark - Florida Artist painting. Oil on artist board - signed lower right. Titled "Cold Front Sunset". Salmon sky sunset on a brisk fall evening. Board measures 24x30 framed to overall size of 30x36. COA attached on reverse. Mark began painting in 2004 with palette knife in oils. He was introduced to theHighwaymen art a couple of years prior and then A.E. Backus paintings. In 2011, Mark studied under Ahmed Eltemtamy, a listed Florida landscape artist. In 2016, Mark won the Annual Judge’s Choice Award with theSebastian Art Club. Mark won 1st Place in the painting category at the Plantation Art Show of South Florida.
