Chinese porcelain shell-form shrimp dish, 19th century. Pink-glazed, gilt, and scalloped rim; central medallion with female musician, surrounded by four figures interspersed with Chinese text. Unmarked. Size: 1 1/2" H x 10 5/8" W x 9 6/8" D Good condition; wear to gilt rim.Condition: Wear to gilt around the dish rim, and a worn spot (or flaw) to the pink glaze on the handle. No chips; no discernible cracks. There is a darker surface area beside the woman in pink, which looks to be an old repair or surface flaw.
