Stacking skulls .Signed at the 52" mark. ----- Carl "Otto" Long of Greensboro, NC age 64 has been producing folk art carved totems and walking sticks since 1993. each year he would have 13 to 20 canes and 5 to 8 totems to sale and one show in Wilmington NC. His Artwork began after a horrific Jeep accident when he ran off a cliff in Virginia. Laying there for 11 hours before he was found. He spent a lot of time in a hospital bed and his uncle, an artist brought him 3 blocks of wood and a pocket knife and told him to start carving. The result is a 28 year career as a folk art carver. But the reason the folk art world doesnt know about him is because he sold at a once a year tatoo convention. He set up at Kimbell Sterlings Folky Showy in 1996 only one time.
