Previously sold at Sotheby's (May 13, 2005, lot 158). Â This bag was made by Dennis Lessard.
thread-sewn and loom-beaded on red cotton warps; decorated using glass bead colors of red white-heart, dark blue, cobalt, white, pea green, and greasy yellow; backside with nested diamonds offset by radiating lines while front depicts the mythical water panther; wrapped cotton opening
length 4-3/4 inches x height 2-3/4 inches
