Description
The 1/2 liter German porcelain stein for the League of American Wheelmen, an early membership organization formed in the era of high wheel bicycles, bears the club logos and the motif of a high wheel bike, attributed to Schierholz, 1/2 liter, pewter mounts, lithophane in the base depicts a bicyclist taking a spill on a busy street.
The 1/2 liter porcelain figure of a nun is mounted with pewter hinged at the handle and made with a lithophane base depicting a priest with maiden when held to the light.
Measures 7 x 5.25 x 4.25 and 6.5 x 5.5 x 3.5 inches.
