The lithograph signed by the artist in pencil lower right was published by Associated American Artists in an edition of 250 prints, printed on wove paper, watermark GCM.
Fath number 14. Benton's notes read: 'From a drawing made 1928 in North Carolina, Smoky Mountain country. With a companion driving the car, I followed these hill people 'till the drawing was finished.'
Image size 9.25 x 11.75, the frame measures 17.5 x 20 inches.
