Highly detailed and hand carved terracotta panel depicting Abraham giving Hagar a bottle of water, from the Old Testament.
Inscribed 'And Abraham rose up early in the morning and took bread and a bottle of water and gave it unto Hagar.' Incised 'H. Doulton & Co. Lambeth,' 'G. Tinworth,' and GT monogram along the front. Set in a wooden frame with a glass front. Label on the back of the frame reads 'Terracotta panel no. 1. Abraham sending away Hope and Ishmael. By George Tinworth at H. Doulton & Lambeth.'
