Mintons Majolica Turquoise-Ground Five Compartment Flower Holder
Date cypher for 1874
Impressed uppercase mark and shape no. 1107, painted :/: mark
The quintal tulipière molded as five conjoined foliate stems, on a yellow lined rectangular foot, height 7 3/4 inches; Together with an English Majolica Pineapple and Hand Vase. Circa 1870-80, illegible impressed registry diamond and brown painted marks, attributed to James Wardle or Wardle & Co., modeled as a disembodied right hand, holding a small pineapple, the ring finger and pinky with gold bands, a tassel cuff link clasp and green sleeve as the base. Height 10 1/8 inches.
