Pair of Victorian Enamel Cherub Drop Earrings
ca. 1870, 15k yellow gold, each centering a circular Swiss enamel portrait of a cherub, within concentric textured gold rings, quartered by seed pearls and suspending a chevron fringe gold wire tassel, the reverse with locking fishhook earwires of later date. l. 1-1/2", total weight 5.9 grams

In overall good condition with no dents or losses. Enamel in very good condition with no chips. No marks. The locking earwires are replacements as noted in the catalogue description, the wire and lock attached to an added vertical bar on the reverse; these were likely originally suspended from a small ring at the top, where evidence of their removal remains.
