5.07ct pear shape diamond, GIA.With a GIA report stating that the diamond is G color, SI1 and 5.07 weight

Davids notes: The family kept the original mounting, so we made a size 6 mounting out of silver and rodium plated it so it looks like white gold or platinum. But if you buy this, you really need to get a mounting of solid white gold or platinum. The original mounting is being kept by the family for sentimental reasons. You do get to keep the mounting you see in the photos, the one David Killen Gallery made, but remember its silver, not gold.

An exceptional stone, the SI1 is really negligible. There is a crystal and a few tiny needles under the table to the right, invisible to the naked eye, barely visible with a loupe(I couldn't see them with a loupe but they are there).Based on the original mounting and the family history, this stone was probably cut and mounted circa 1965.
