Description:Fantastic collection of 9 Paris Salon annual exhibition catalogues from 1893, 1894, 1895, 1896, 1897, 1898, 1899, 1900 and 1901. These books are filled with photogravure illustrations from the exhibitions. Two of these books are in English while the other six are in French. Featured in these books are works by Auguste Rodin, John Singer Sargent, Leon Bonnet and William-Adolphe Bouguereau. Notable pieces in this collection are: Rose Caron in the Role of Salammbo by Bonnat (1898), Abduction of Psyche (1895) and Admiration (1899) by Bouguereau and Balzac (1898) by Rodin.These books appear to be very rare and we have only found individual volumes that retail online in the 1,000 dollar range.

Pages have been rebound, various stains on pages, edges of the pages opposite of the spine show tearing and wear. One book (1897) has 2 pages torn out but are included with the book.
