Barbara Caron has drawn from the time she could hold a pencil. She spent her childhood surrounded by art and animals in her grandfather’s farm. She attended Pratt Institute and graduated from the Parsons School of Design in New York City.Barbara instructed children in art at the San Diego Wild Animal Park, and her classes were considered to be a most exciting aspect. Art critic Mark-Elliot Lugo lauded Barbara for her watercolor Red Fox. Among her many awards are the Grumbacher Silver Award at the Redlands Art Association Show and Exhibitions. She has shown her work at galleries throughout the Southwest from Arizona to California.Her works are included in numerous private and corporate collections across the United States.
