The watch is currently running and appears to be keeping decent time, but we do not know the full service history. Therefore, we recommend a service after purchase at the buyers expense. The watch case is made of solid 18k yellow gold with red enamel inlay. The case back is set with 15 rose-cut diamonds in the shape of a fleur de lis, surrounded by a lovely filigree pattern. The watch features an engraving on the inside that is from 1896. This is a very rare and exciting piece, and is in excellent shape for how old it is!
