Antique post World War I Era 36 piece tea service, produced circa 1920. Includes: six Royal Vienna cobalt blue and white tea or coffee cups and saucers with central Neoclassical allegorical and mythological landscape scenes (cups measure 2" x 4" x 3"; saucers measure 5.5" x .75"); six Royal Vienna Courting Couples pattern red and white tea or coffee cups with central Renaissance landscape scenes and lovers (cups measure 2" x 4" x 3"; saucers measure 5.5" x .75"); six Royal Vienna cobalt blue and white dessert or bread plates with central Neoclassical allegorical and mythological landscape scenes (measures 7" x .75"); and five Royal Vienna red and white dessert or bread plates with central Renaissance landscape scenes and lovers (measures 6.75" x .75"). All with profuse gilt embellishments and decoration, and most with Bohemian Czech backstamp, Royal Vienna blue beehive shield backstamp and gilt HERMANN HOLZNER KARLSBAD GLASPALAST backstamp to underside. Set includes one antique Pirkenhammer lidded red and white porcelain tea pot with profuse gilt decoration to finial, handle, spout, and body, and having opposing panels decorated with Renaissance lovers and with PIRKENHAMMER CZECHOSLOVAKIA backstamp (measures 6" x 10" x 5.5").
