The 1936-S had good initial collector demand and in the summer of 1936 they were bringing as much as $5.50 in various dealer offerings.The 1936-S, like all Oregon's, comes very nice. The surfaces are normally very clean and the luster is usually frosty and excellent. The typical grade is MS64 to MS66. This issue is virtually unknown in circulated grades as the entire issue was saved.
