This is a great 1954 comic book from Dell. This Andy Panda is a Walter Lantz. The cover features Andy and Charlie Chicken on the cover. I did a lot of digging and signature comparisons. It seems very rare that Lantz signed anything as one of his comic book characters but he did on occasion. Many of his signatures had slight variations, as do all of us, but one thing was always consistent was his Ls. Finding pieces he signed for people, I found a couple to people who's name began with a C and his Cs are consistent as well. In other signature comparisons, sometimes the As and Es looked much like on this piece, others were slightly different. This comic is signed Handy above the printed Andy and Charlie Chicken Liver below the title and it appears to be in the hand of Walter Lantz.

Graphics are still clear, shows wear on the spine and surface creases.  Great display piece. Â
