Gallé Metal-Mounted Acid-Etched Cameo Glass Lamp
Circa 1920
With a domed shade in plum colored glass over mottled dark salmon and colorless glass, decorated with rose blossom in various stages of bloom and meandering thorny stems; raised on a conforming flower-form base, decorated with pendant leafy branches laden with berries or grapes; shade and base signed in cameo relief. Height overall 22 inches; height of shade 5 3/4 inches, diameter 9 1/2 inches.

shade and base both appear to be in generally good, undamaged condition; there are some very light/superficial scuff marks to the shade and base, not of any great consequence; the interior of the base is also illuminated; the lamp is currently wired; the replaced (later) single socket and wiring were not tested; there are age-appropriate losses and scratches to the brass plated metal mounts, consistent with age, usage and handling
