Woodward, 1830. 2 volumes, octavo (8 ¾ x 5 1/2in; 223 x 140mm). Pp. [1]-2-15[-16], [i-iii]-iv-xii, [13-]14-560 ; [i-iii-]iv, [5]-6-608. Engraved portrait frontispiece of the author after H.W. Pickersgill, wood-engraved title vignettes. (Spotted, as often.) Contemporary leather binding (somewhat spotted and scuffed).

A lifetime edition of More’s works: a version of S.G. Goodrich’s Boston edition of 1827 with Lydia Sigourney’s short biographical survey of the author, and a characterful portrait by Oliver Pelton after Pickersgill. Vol.I starts with 16pp of publisher’s advertisements.
