Early pair large Meissen porcelain pug models, 18th/19th c., German, after models by J.J. Kandler, hand painted and gilt porcelain seated pugs, with cobalt and gilt bell ribbon collars, each with blue crossed sword factory marks to unglazed underside, 9.25"h x 8.75"w x 5"d (slightly taller example)

Good, no visible chips, cracks, or repairs, one dog's ear appears to have a small repainted chipped area, each dog with losses and repairs to ribbon/bow collar, one with tiny chipping to ends of paw, and tiny paint flake to hind foot edge **Condition reports are rendered as specialist opinion by the staff of the Auction House and not as statements of fact.
