Grouping of (11) antique volumes, most in various octavo formats, including: Volume II of The History of the United Netherlands by John Lothrop Motley, with ornate gilt-embossed spine (1866); The French Revolution of 1780; As Viewed in the Light of Republican Institutions by John S.C. Abbott (1859); Macaulay's History of England, Vol. IV (1885); and many more. Dimensions: H (tallest) 9.75" x W (total linear width) 15.5" x D 7" Condition: Showing various signs of wear consistent with antique age and use; one volume with detached cover, others with loose covers or bindings; fading, nicks, losses and some disintegration to leather and covers at edges and spines; losses to embossing; age toning, spots of soiling and handling to pages.
Condition
All the items in this auction remain at our Annex Gallery location in Bridgeport, CT for pickup. Items must be picked up in the time frame of Wednesday, November 17th - Friday, November 26th, 9am-5pm, WEEKDAYS.
