Bronze with a reddish brown patina, height 52 1/4 in. (132.7 cm), mounted to a limestone base.
Condition: Scattered areas of oxidation, limestone base has staining and scattered abrasions and small losses.

N.B. In the 1970s, Bryan Hunt began experimenting with ways to capture the fluidity and movement of water in bronze. His first attempt was a large-scale model of the Hoover Dam, and from there he turned to a group of lakes. Hunt finally settled on waterfalls as his focus and has produced a series of highly textured sculptures that contrast the turns, twists, and shifts of rushing water with the heavy solidity of bronze.

Condition: The limestone base measures 22 1/4 x 18 x 22 in.
