Description
An absolutely gorgeous example of the rare and coveted Pansy lamp by John Morgan and Sons, New York, c. 1905. The 18” diameter leaded glass shade features a background of streaked green and white glass with vibrant, multi colored pansies in reds, oranges, blues, pinks, yellows, and many more. The flowers have each been hand painted to reproduce the details of the pansies. The shade is in excellent condition, free of any broken or missing glass, and just a very small number of tight heat cracks. The shade sits on an original John Morgan base. The two-socket base is decorated with flowing vines and detailed leaves. It retains its original sockets and acorn pulls. A truly wonderful example of one of Morgan’s best lamps. Dimensions: 22” tall by 18” wide by 18” deep. This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made. Condition: (Excellent). Dimensions: 21" x 19" x 19".
