Julio Micheli Large Abstract Still Life Oil Painting. This large still life by Puerto Rican artist Julio Micheli (Puerto Rican, b.1937-) most likely depicts a staged scene from the artist's studio. At the center top we can see the back of a canvas or easel with a scull placed in front. Surrounding the center scene are objects from the studio, rolled canvases and potentially another painting in front. The easel or back of a canvas eludes to a cross, which is emphasized by it's title "Cara o Cruz" / "Face the Cross." Signed "MicheLi 66" at bottom. Signed "Julio Micheli 1966" and "Cara o Cruz" on the back. Oil on canvas.

Dimensions are 53.5 in h x 67.5 in w x 1.75 in d. Condition is good. Some small scratches on upper right. Normal wear throughout on frame, including chips. Please call or email for a detailed condition report.
