Description

Rand McNally 18-in Terrestrial Globe w/ Cast Claw Feet. These floor-standing models are sometimes known as "library globes." Likely produced late 19th to early 20th century. Ornate cast iron base features ball and claw feet, and Rand McNally logo among charming depictions of bulbous globes as blossoms in a floral motif. Includes a wide wood horizon ring showing astrological measurements.

Dimensions are 33.5 in h x 23 in w x 23 in d. Condition is good, with general surface wear, discoloration, chips, and some wear to metal. Please call or email for a detailed condition report.
