Gilded Baroque Turned Wood Altar Floor Candle Holder. This tall floor candle stand was most likely used in a church as part of an altar setting. The wood is turned in a beautiful Baroque style with a wide base with ample space to hold a candle on top. The previously gilded or gold painted surface has a great patina with older layers of paint and wood coming though.
