Born in 1941 and living in Pa. Know for his cover art. Acrylic on board, signed lower right, original proposed cover art for Keith Laumer book entitled The Stars Must Wait. The art director at Baen publishing rejected this piece and Schwinger repainted it more to the art directors liking, matted and framed, sight 14 1/2 x 23 1/2", frame, 20 3/4 x 29 1/2". Lot includes the book with the final cover art, published in 1990. Condition Fine.
