Title:1906 Duchy Of Hesse Imperial Germany Porcelain Beer Stein

Description: This very tall stein depicts a battle field off to one side and a waterway with a bridge across it and a town in the background. A group of soldiers sit around a campfire and at the dead center is a portrait of possibly Princess Victoria Louise or The Grand Empress Augusta Victoria enclosed in a leafy wreath with the proud striped lion of Hesse. The pewter lid has a soldier and a crowned lion with a shield. At the bottom of this stein, there is a much sought after lithophane, showing a soldier greeting a woman with a church in the background.

Measurements:12.25 in tall 4.75 in base

Condition:Very good very small dings around the bottom. Also around the inside rim of the lid is a hand etched number.
