Description
Group of Three Chinese Porcelain Wig Stands, 20th c., with painted floral and bird decoration, H.- 11 1/4 in., Dia.- 5 in. Provenance: Palmira, the Estate of Sarkis Kaltakdjian (Sarkis Oriental Rugs), Prairieville, Louisiana.
Condition
Some wear to paint, mainly on brown stems. Small firing flaws throughout one with 1/8 in. chip to pait on flower and similar chip on face of bird. The same stand has almost all the gilt on the rim worn off. Wear consistent with age and use. Beautiful examples.
