Description
DESCRIPTION: An excellent large original oil on artist board of an African American Harlem Renaissance style scene. It features two African American couples at what appears to be a bowling alley. Three of the figures are seated with a man flanked by two women. The second man is laying on his side in front. Both men are holding their bowling balls in hand. Very loose style with excellent use of design and color. Mostly done in blues and purples with hints or red and orange. While unsigned, it is possibly an artist associated with the Washington DC area, as it has a framers stamp on reverse (please see photo).
