DESCRIPTION: A brilliant original Art Deco oil on canvas showing a beautiful woman reclined and reading with a night table beside her. The painting is illegibly signed at lower right along with the date 1918. Some clues on the reverse may help identify the artist. One is a partial framers label on reverse from the Duncan Vail Co. which was an important framery established in Los Angeles in 1869. Their is also a partial address label from Pasadena CA. Original untouched condition. Has surface dirt associated with an antique oil painting. Never cleaned or restored. Frame has some small areas of abrasion and loss, but overall is very good. We have provided excellent hi-res photos so you can judge condition for yourself.
